Bracket orientation can be altered in order to raise/lower the light <13mm relative to the vehicle mounting point.

Lazer Lamps accessories: mounting and protection

Lazer Lamps LED driving lights require correctly specified mounting hardware to perform as intended. A lamp mounted without a stay bar will flex during off-road driving and vibrate on corrugated tracks — this shortens the lifespan of the LED array and the lamp's internal electronics. Stay bars eliminate this movement by triangulating the lamp between the vehicle and a fixed anchor point.

Lazer stay bar kits are available for the Sentinel and Linear series lamps and attach to the lamp's existing mounting points. The anti-theft mounting kits for the Linear series use security fasteners in the lamp mounting that require a specific bit to remove, reducing opportunistic lamp theft on commercial vehicles and plant machinery parked outdoors.

Amber lens covers are a compliance requirement for certain on-road uses in the UK. Under the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations, a forward-facing white light that is visible from the front of the vehicle must either be switched off or obscured in normal road use. An amber lens cover converts the lamp output to amber, which is compliant for road use as a warning lamp.

Lazer produces amber lens covers for the RP Series, Utility-50 HD, Utility-80 HD, and Sentinel ranges. Black lens covers provide full blockout for lamps that need to be completely obscured when not in use.

Do Lazer Lamps need a stay bar?

A stay bar is recommended for any installation where the lamp will be exposed to sustained vibration — off-road driving, agricultural use, or commercial vehicles on poor road surfaces. Stay bars triangulate the lamp to prevent flexing at the mounting bracket and extend lamp life.

When do I need an amber lens cover for a Lazer lamp?

What is the purpose of the anti-theft mounting kit?

Are Lazer lens covers compatible across different lamp series?

Lens covers are lamp-series specific. An RP Series cover does not fit a Sentinel or Linear. Always order the cover specified for the exact lamp model.
