Workshop staff working inside need something different from yard operatives, drivers getting in and out of cabs, or roadside workers with visibility requirements. For yard and workshop use without a traffic proximity requirement, non-hi-vis options offer more variety in weight and cut.

Waterproof rating matters more than people often realise. A jacket described as water-resistant will shed light rain but soak through in sustained wet weather. Look for a confirmed hydrostatic head rating if the work involves extended outdoor exposure.
