Vehicle skates and jacking equipment for workshops at Truckstop Group

Moving a non-running vehicle in a tight workshop without a running engine or tow vehicle is a practical problem that GoJak wheel dollies solve. GoJak units fit under individual wheels and allow a vehicle to be pushed or manoeuvred by hand in any direction, including sideways. Each GoJak is rated to a specific wheel load: the 4107 and 4520 variants cover 465kg and 510kg per wheel respectively, the 5211 covers 590kg, the 6313 and 7016 cover 710kg and 780kg. The GoJak 465kg aviation jack is also available for aircraft wheel applications. A rack for storing four GoJak units is stocked separately.

For jacking and lifting, Hurricane supplies a 20-tonne pneumatic bottle jack for heavy vehicle workshop use and a 500kg transmission jack for gearbox and axle work. The Hurricane 10T auto body repair kit covers panel straightening and structural repair work. HURRICANE vehicle skates provide an alternative low-profile movement solution for bodyshop floors.

All equipment is supplied through Serenco UK. GoJak units are sold individually or in pairs depending on variant — check the product listing for unit pricing. Call our team for advice on which GoJak variant suits your typical vehicle weights and tyre widths.

Frequently asked questions

How does a GoJak work?

A GoJak is a wheel dolly that fits under a single wheel. The vehicle is jacked up slightly, the GoJak is positioned under the tyre, and the vehicle is lowered onto the dolly's casters. With a GoJak under each wheel, or at least two wheels, the vehicle can be pushed in any direction by hand. They are most commonly used for moving non-running vehicles in workshops where space is limited.

What weight rating do I need for a GoJak?

Divide the vehicle's axle weight by the number of wheels on that axle to get the per-wheel load, then select a GoJak rated at or above that figure. For a car with a 1,000kg front axle weight across two wheels, a per-wheel load of 500kg means the GoJak 5211 (590kg) is the appropriate choice.

What is the Hurricane 20T pneumatic bottle jack used for?

The Hurricane 20T pneumatic bottle jack is designed for heavy vehicle workshop use, providing 20 tonnes of lifting capacity using shop air. It suits HGV axle work, heavy plant and commercial vehicle maintenance where a standard hydraulic bottle jack would require too many strokes to reach working height.
