The two main DAF XF generations in current UK service are the XF105 (Euro 5, produced 2006–2017) and the New Generation XF (Euro 6, produced 2017 onwards). The XF105 uses the MX340, MX375, MX410, MX440, or MX510 engine designations — all variants of the MX-engine platform in Euro 4 and Euro 5 tune. The New Generation XF cab is larger, with a redesigned interior and updated front end. Headlamp assemblies, bumpers, grilles, and interior trim are all generation-specific.
