It depends on how far the modification departs from the OE grille geometry. Kits are designed around the factory grille position, so a replacement grille that replicates the standard profile will generally work. The 750 is optimised for road use: excellent spread and reach for everyday driving on unlit B-roads and motorways. The 850 produces more raw output and longer range, which makes it the better choice for regular off-road driving or demanding night routes. Both come in Standard and Elite grades. For most van conversions and road-biased 4x4 use, the 750 is the right starting point.

Standard grade delivers Lazer's core optical performance: high output, ECE road-legal where applicable, and sealed to IP67. Elite grade adds i-LBA, which automatically modulates beam intensity to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic, and E-Boost, which extends maximum output when conditions allow. The Linear range. Its low-profile, smooth aero design makes it well suited to roof bars, and Lazer specifically engineers it to minimise wind noise when roof-mounted. Lumens is the total light output from the source itself, the same number whether you're 1 metre or 100 metres away. Lux measures light intensity hitting a surface at a specific distance. For driving lights, lux is the number that matters: it tells you how much usable light reaches the road at the distances that affect visibility. Lazer publishes photometric diagrams for each product. Those diagrams are more useful than comparing lumen figures between brands.

Five years, manufacturer-backed. LEDs are rated to a minimum 50,000 hours. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship when the lamp is correctly installed and used within its intended application. CAN (Controller Area Network) is the communication system used in most vehicles built from around 2010 onwards.
