Fort workwear at Truckstop Group

Fort is a UK workwear brand, and its trousers make up most of what we stock. The Combat, Camouflage Combat and Workforce styles are the heavier, harder-wearing options for workshop floors and yards. Airflex and Air Reflex use lighter, more flexible fabrics for warmer conditions. Flex and Rutland trousers and Workforce shorts complete the range.

For cold weather, Fort thermal long johns and short-sleeve vests go under ordinary workwear without adding much bulk, and the Easton pullover is a mid layer. Is the Fort hi-vis vest certified to EN ISO 20471?

EN ISO 20471 is the current standard for high-visibility clothing, and it replaced EN 471 in 2013. It sets three visibility classes by the area of fluorescent and reflective material. Check the certification on the product listing and label, and confirm the class your site or contract requires before ordering.

What is Thinsulate?

Thinsulate is a synthetic insulation made by 3M. It provides warmth without much thickness, so Fort's Thinsulate gloves stay thin enough to grip tools and handle fixings. The Shooters Mitt is one of the Thinsulate styles we stock.

How do I keep warm working outside in winter?

Layer up. Fort thermal long johns and vests go under ordinary work trousers and tops without adding much bulk, the Easton pullover adds a mid layer, and Thinsulate gloves keep hands warm. Add a waterproof outer layer if you are working in rain.
