For any vehicle originally fitted with an AGM or EFB battery, the YBX 1000 is not a compatible replacement — the battery type must be maintained to avoid charging system faults.
Correct specification still matters within the YBX 1000 range. CCA must meet or exceed the engine's starting requirement — diesel engines require more CCA than petrol units of equivalent displacement. Physical dimensions and terminal configuration must match the battery tray and existing connections. Capacity in Ah must be sufficient for the vehicle's electrical load, not just the starting requirement.
