Improvements are in part made through the placement of supplemental yellow LEDs in each of the lights, which can either combine with the already superior white light high beam function for awe-inspiring night-time visibility at a slightly softer, more relaxing colour temperature.     The hugely versatile Triple-R 750, a firm favourite across the passenger car/4x4, LCV, and heavy truck sectors, is now offered with integrated amber flashing beacon function. Incorporating 2 different UNECE Reg65 approved forward-facing flash patterns, the additional safety functionality within the lamp, combines with the possibility to connect a white or amber position/side light function, as well as the exceptional high beam driving light function to really set the Triple-R 750 apart from the competition. The Triple-R 750 delivers a spot beam pattern well suited to road use. The lamp itself has a clean contemporary design, with a more aggressive edge, to match the aesthetic design prevalent on modern vehicles. Boasting an impressive 5,400 lumen, and delivering 1 lux to 442m, the auxiliary LED driving light provides good left/right spread of light with a 28deg horizontal spread of light. The lamp is UNECE approved to Regulation 149 as a high beam driving light, through adoption of Lazer’s dual output E-Boost technology; controlled via quickly flashing the light off/on, the light can be quickly dimmed for avoiding glare when passing road-signs for example (flash-to-dim), or at any time programmed to always work in the high or low output modes, with the low output mode complying to the UNECE Reg149 as an on-road high beam driving light. Included within the lamp is the option to connect an integrated position/side light function, for when the requirement is for a light installation that gets noticed as much during the day as at night. There is the possibility to connect white or amber coloured position lights, simply by inserting the corresponding wire into the lamp connector at the point of installation, or leave both disconnected to have your Triple-R 750 act as a high beam driving light only. The position light function (white only) is approved to UNECE Reg148, to operate in parallel with your standard vehicle lights. The Beacon functions are UNECE Reg65 approved as a narrow-field, night-limits, (XA1) beacon light, with 2 different amber warning light patterns which can be selected and synchronised (between multiple lamps), at the point of installation, or using a momentary switch where the requirement is to change the flash pattern on demand. Like all Lazer products, the Triple-R 750 with Beacon function has been designed and engineered to deliver a powerful driving light with perfectly homogenous beam pattern. The colour temperature of the light, at 5000k, is carefully selected to maximise definition of any obstacles ahead, while ensuring a comfortable drive even over prolonged periods of time. Performance is complemented by a superior build quality, borne out of our in-house UK manufacture, and backed up by our comprehensive 5year warranty.

Or the option to operate the yellow LEDs on their own, with that light angled slightly down and to the sides of the road or track making this function ideal in snow, fog, or dust conditions.

    The lights are intended to cycle through the different lighting modes via a momentary switch. The lighting modes are: Boost (white only), Combo (white + yellow), Snow/Fog/Dust Mode (yellow only), and Low output mode (white only at reduced output). A memory function within the lamp means the previous mode selected will be in effect when your vehicle is restarted for example. Additionally, pressing and holding the momentary switch for 2 seconds will result in the light instantly jumping to the low output mode.

    The imposing nature of the Triple-R 16 Elite+ is reflected in the lamp’s performance. Through advanced electronic design the light consists of a combination of white LEDs and yellow LEDs. With the light operating in Boost mode the white LEDs produces 18,040 raw lumen. Switching to ‘Combo’ mode the white and yellow LEDs combine to produce 30,640 raw lumen representing incredible lighting performance for a safer, more enjoyable night driving experience. All LEDs operating in combination results in 332W power consumption and 22.3 Amps current draw (at 14V). To support operation of the lamp and electrical installation, the lamp features both a high power 2-pin Aptiv, and 3-pin Superseal connector. Additionally, included with each lamp are corresponding vehicle side wiring kits. The Aptiv connection is responsible for the high beam operation of the light, while the Superseal connections relate to the: function select, white and amber backlight selection.
